Shipping and Returns

This page explains how shipping, delivery, and returns work for WireShelvingSupply.com. If you have questions on an order, contact us with your order number and ship-to ZIP code.

Shipping

Free Shipping over $300

We offer free shipping on qualifying orders over $300 shipped to the 48 contiguous United States. Free shipping applies to standard shipping methods and eligible items. Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, and international shipments are excluded.

Order processing and lead times

  • Most in-stock items ship after payment is processed and the order is released for shipment.
  • Lead times vary by item. If timing matters, contact us before ordering and we’ll confirm availability.
  • Orders may ship in multiple cartons or in multiple shipments.

Freight shipments and special services

Some orders may require LTL freight due to size, weight, or carton length. Freight shipments may not qualify for free shipping. Additional services are not included unless specifically quoted:

  • Liftgate service
  • Inside delivery
  • Appointment delivery
  • Limited access delivery (schools, hospitals, construction sites, military bases, etc.)

Shipping addresses and delivery types

  • Be sure your ship-to address is complete and accurate, including suite numbers and receiving hours.
  • Residential deliveries and limited access locations can add carrier surcharges.
  • If you need delivery to a jobsite or location with restrictions, include that in the order notes.

Sales tax

Sales tax may apply depending on the ship-to state and applicable laws. If your purchase is tax-exempt, provide an exemption certificate prior to or at the time of order so it can be applied correctly.

Delivery, damage, and shortages

Please inspect all shipments immediately upon delivery. Any damage or shortages must be noted on the delivery receipt/bill of lading at the time of delivery. This includes visible damage and suspected concealed damage (open cartons if needed to confirm).

Important: carriers generally will not honor claims if the delivery receipt is signed clear. If damage or shortage is discovered after signing, we may be limited in our ability to replace or refund affected items.

If you find damage or a shortage:

  • Write a clear note on the delivery receipt before signing (example: “2 cartons crushed” or “1 carton missing”).
  • Take photos of the cartons, labels, and damaged product.
  • Keep all packaging until the claim is resolved.
  • Contact us as soon as possible with photos and your order number.

Returns and cancellations

Return authorization required

Returns and cancellations must be approved in writing before any product is sent back. No returns will be accepted without an RGA (Return Goods Authorization) number.

Return window

Return requests must be submitted within 30 days of delivery unless otherwise stated on the product page or quote.

Restocking fees and return freight

  • Approved returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee.
  • Return shipping/freight is the responsibility of the purchaser unless the return is due to our error.
  • Original shipping charges, expedited services, and carrier accessorial charges are non-refundable.

Return condition requirements

  • Items must be unused and returned in original packaging.
  • Products damaged by installation, misuse, or improper handling are not eligible for return.
  • Custom, special-order, or non-stock items may be non-cancellable and non-returnable (we will advise before processing).

Refunds

After the return is received and inspected, refunds are issued to the original payment method for the eligible amount (less restocking fees and any applicable freight/charges). Processing times can vary based on inspection and carrier transit.

Payment

Payment is processed using the payment methods available at checkout. Orders typically ship after payment is approved. If you need alternative payment arrangements for a large order, contact us and we’ll confirm what options are available.

Privacy

We respect your confidentiality. We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

Pricing and listing errors

If an item is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to a typographical or system error, we reserve the right to cancel or correct the order. If payment has been captured and an order is canceled due to an error, we will issue a refund for the affected amount.
